Najia Mehadji was born in 1950 in Paris. She is a Franco-Moroccan artist recognized internationally since the 1980s, having exhibited in several major museums including that of the Georges-Pompidou center in Paris and the Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rabat.
